Many victims of family violence flee a dangerous situation with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.
When they come to us we try to provide as many resources as we can, but we often need community support to keep our supply closet filled with the most common needs. If you feel inclined to support us we would be most grateful. We’ve provided a link to our Amazon Wishlist below. You can also call the FJC to find out if we have other pressing needs for clients.
We are always seeking donations for the following items as well:
Non-perishable food items
Meat (we freeze it and provide it as needed to supplement our canned goods)
Gas cards (Food City and Kroger)
Gift cards to buy items not stocked in our supply closet. Some examples of how these are used include a staff member taking a card and the client to the store to buy shoes for children or work clothes for a mom or dad starting a new job.
